Terms of Service

Welcome to Luvmood. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding contract between you and Luvmood (“we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of the Luvmood mobile app, the website at luvmood.com, and any related features (together, the “Service”). Please read them carefully — by creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Tips.
If you don’t agree to these Terms, do not use Luvmood.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
- You must not have been previously banned from the Service.
- You must not be a registered sex offender of any kind.
- You must not be subject to any sanctions list maintained by the United States or your country of residence.
We may verify your age and identity at any time, and we may remove or suspend accounts that misrepresent these details.
2. Your account
- One account per person. Don’t impersonate anyone or use a fake identity.
- Keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, intimidate, or harm any user.
- Post nudity, sexually explicit content, or any content sexualising or involving minors.
- Send unsolicited sexual content or pressure other users for such content.
- Spam, defraud, scam, phish, or solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users.
- Promote, sell, or solicit prostitution, escort services, or other commercial sexual services.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including advertising, recruiting, or surveying, without our written permission.
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any protected class.
- Share, distribute, or post other people’s private information (doxxing).
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, copy, or interact with the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
- Attempt to circumvent moderation, blocking, age verification, banning, or any other safety system.
- Create accounts after being banned, or help banned users do so.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or any other user’s use of it.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
We use both automated systems and human review to enforce these rules. Violations can result in content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent banning without refund. See our Community Guidelines for more detail.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Luvmood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and create derivative works of your User Content for the sole purpose of operating, providing, improving, marketing, and promoting the Service. This licence ends when your User Content is deleted, except where retention is required by law or for our legitimate safety purposes.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence, that your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party, and that it complies with our Community Guidelines and applicable law.
We may remove, refuse, or restrict any User Content at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
5. Coins, premium, and purchases
Luvmood offers virtual coins and an optional premium subscription (collectively, “Paid Features”). All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play (the “Platform”) under their billing terms.
Auto-renewing subscriptions (Premium).
- If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — not in the Luvmood app.
- The subscription duration and price are shown to you at the point of purchase, and again in your Platform receipt.
- Unused portions of a free trial (if any) are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Coins.
- Coins are a limited, revocable licence to use in-app features (chat requests, gifts, boosts). They are not property, currency, or a stored-value instrument.
- Coins have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Unused coins are forfeited when your account is deleted, terminated, or inactive for more than 12 months.
- We may revoke coins obtained through fraud, chargeback, error, or in violation of these Terms.
Refunds.
All purchases are final. Refund requests are handled by the Platform under its own policy:

- Google Play: Google Play refund policy
Where required by law (e.g. EU consumer cooling-off rights), you may be entitled to a refund directly from us — email hello@luvmood.com within the applicable window.
6. Apple App Store terms
If you download the app from Apple’s App Store, the following also apply:
- These Terms are between you and Luvmood, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
- Your licence to the app is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, and as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for product claims, including product liability, regulatory compliance, or consumer-protection claims.
- If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual-property rights, Luvmood — not Apple — is responsible.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
Luvmood is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of dealing.
We do not conduct criminal background checks on users beyond limited public sex-offender registry checks where law requires. Use your own judgement when interacting with other users and when meeting people from Luvmood in person. Read our Safety Tips.
We do not guarantee that you will receive a match, a conversation, a date, or a relationship of any kind.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luvmood and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages — in those jurisdictions, the above limits apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Luvmood and its affiliates from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of another person or entity.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Arbitration agreement (US users). Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. You and Luvmood each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@luvmood.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your full name and account email.
If arbitration is found unenforceable, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we believe termination is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you in-app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Miscellaneous
- These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines) are the entire agreement between you and Luvmood.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
